LMDC StaffThe LMDC Staff members have brought a broad range of talents to the organization, including experiences in academia, private corporations, and in the public sector. Learn more about our current Senior Staff members below. Daniel Ciniello, President: Top Mr. Ciniello was named President of LMDC on August 8, 2019. He had served as Acting President since October 5, 2018 while retaining his financial and operational responsibilities. Mr. Ciniello is responsible for providing daily oversight and direction to LMDC staff in order to carry out the LMDC mission and policy. He has been in charge of LMDC operations since 2004 and also served as the Chief Financial Officer since January 2017. Mr. Ciniello initially joined LMDC in September 2002 as the Vice President for Internal Audit, a position he held through April 2004. He continues to work closely with the Audit and Finance Committee on internal control, risk management and governance issues. Mr. Ciniello has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and over 30 years of experience in the areas of finance, operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Stephen G. Konopko, Vice President, Internal Audit: Top Mr. Konopko is responsible for LMDC's Internal Audit activities including advising management on control, risk management and governance issues. The internal audit function is intended to add value and improve LMDC operations through independent evaluations and consultation. Mr. Konopko reports directly to the Audit and Finance Committee of the Board. Mr. Konopko has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Ramapo College and an MBA in Financial Management from Pace University, over 20 years of internal audit experience and is a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Risk Professional. |
