Sunday, May 16th is "History & Heritage Downtown Family Fun Day"
Free One-Day Festival of Downtown Cultural Institutions in the World Financial Center Winter Garden
This Sunday, May, 16, 2004, LMDC is presenting "History & Heritage Downtown Family Fun Day," from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the World Financial Center Winter Garden. This free daylong festival will showcase the major institutions of Lower Manhattan and is designed to give the visitor an introduction to the 14 museums and cultural attractions located downtown, all within comfortable walking distance of one another. This day of discovery and fun will feature interactive exhibits and demonstrations, as well as live entertainment and special programs for the entire family.
