LMDC ANNOUNCES VIBRANT CULTURAL MIX OF DANCE, THEATRE, AND FINE ARTS FOR THE WORLD TRADE CENTER SITE
Governor Pataki, Mayor Bloomberg, and Chairman Whitehead, along with many headliners of the cultural community, joined the LMDC today to announce the diverse and dynamic cultural institutions that will be offered space at the World Trade Center Site, creating a world class cultural destination Downtown. The Joyce International Dance Center, the International Freedom Center, the Signature Theatre and the Drawing Center have been offered flexible space on the site to be used by each respective institution as well as by the community for other programming opportunities, improving the quality of life in Lower Manhattan.
